- They have a play place...free babysitting for the potty trained kidlets!
- Their carts spin all the way around. The Joe gets a little more rambunctious with the carts than I do.
- They have an "As-Is" section near the checkout. Yay for loads of junk!!! Wahoo!!
As we were rummaging, we noticed that they have lots of cabinet doors that are hard wood. All of which were $4 and under. Sa-weet!
I'm getting ready to have a table at a craft sale this Spring,
so I decided to grab as many as I could to turn into hanging boards.
Most of them have really great framed slats.
Very cute! I'll be busy painting the rest of those suckers this next week.
I decided I'd like to keep a small one for myself to hang a set of antique keys I ordered from PB.
Everyone should have at least one keyboard in their house right?
Welp, thanks for stopping by this fine day.
Wishing you the best!
~Andy
I love this, and I love the colors you chose for the keyboard paint.
ReplyDeleteThose keys from PB are a reasonable price. I'm going to order a set and make a "keyboard" too! ;)
ReplyDeleteI love everything about this post! The ikeas, the deals, the colors, the hooks! Lucky you! My nearest ikea is in atlanta... not so close to kentucky!

I love that. What a fun idea. I need to get to the Ikeas. I haven't been for a long time.
ReplyDeleteI love that you understand about the putting a 'the' in front of any store name. When I say it, no one gets it. :)
ReplyDeleteAwesome job, as always!
I love the pops of color you used. Cupboard doors are by far one of my favorite things for projects!
ReplyDeleteCute! Love the color behind the keys too!
ReplyDeleteOh I love the keyboard! I love a good play on words. the color is perfect. ~Lezlee
ReplyDeleteI love the "Ikea" too! I'll have to check out those cabinet doors. So many possibilities!
ReplyDeleteI love this little lovely. The color layering just makes it! Thanks for coming by my little neck of the woods too.
ReplyDeleteHi Andy- My brother used to live in Utah. I don't remember him adding plurals, but I do remember his wife and friends who grew up there always saying, You, bet. I collect old keys and clock faces. This is a great way to display some of my favorites. I love the color you chose too. I haven't been to Ikea is a long time. I live near a huge one in suburban Philadelphia. I love the clearance room, but I love the chrispy chocolate cookies they sell in the cafe more - yummy! You can't eat just one.

We are always looking for fabulous talented people like yourself. If you are interested, shoot me an email! Thanks for the inspiration. I will be back!
ReplyDeleteToo cute of a idea! Love your craftiness!
ReplyDeleteLove it! I sure wish there was an Ikea closer to me. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteI have never been to an Ikea... none around here. :( I love your key board, it looks fantastic! Love the distressed look!
ReplyDeleteIkea is awesome. I introduce my mom to it last time she came to visit us (she doesn't live near one, sadly) and we went everyday she was here! I will have to check out their "as-is" section, because these are the cutest things I have ever seen!
ReplyDeleteVery cute, you did a great job! I'll have to remember to check out the "as is" section the next time I go to IKEA.
