So today's post is going to be a bunch of
odds and ends as we wrap up the week!
Yay for Friday!! This post may just turn into a
"I {heart} my husband" entry. He really did a lot to help with my projects the last couple of days. The first thing he helped me do is to make a vinyl tile for a wedding shower. I just told him what I wanted and he went to work. I just
love how it turned out!!
The other thing he helped me with is getting a
blog button. WOOO HOOO. Now I feel really official:) I worked on it for 2 hours and couldn't get it functional. He put in another hour and was able to get it going.
Sakes alive!! All of that work for a tiny little rectangle with letters on it!!
Thanks my love. I also wanted to share with you an inexpensive little shelf design. I found coordinating ceramics at D.I. for the sliding door in my dining room.
It's fun to pick through and find things are kind of matching, and it only cost me $5 for the whole lot!! Second hand ceramics are also fun for gifts. You can use them as
flower vases or sanitize them and
fill them with goodies. And last, but definitely not least are a couple of
preciously handmade clothing items by
Erin. I don't know if you got a chance to see her projects on Creative Cats, so I wanted to share them with you.
Aren't they
adorable??( I hope you don't mind me posting Erin. I'll take them off if you'd prefer). Speaking of
Creative Cats, I'm also working on a button for all of you who are nice enough to link up and share your
coolness with us.
So get working on your projects so you can grab this highly coveted button:) If you have already linked up in the past make sure and grab yourself a badge of honor!
Thanks for all your
views and nice comments this week. I really appreciate you checking in on my little projects. It really helps to keep me motivated to improve. Have a
rip-roarin' weekend!!
Thanks for posting my clothes I made Andrea! I linked and it never showed up on your blog so I gave up! I love all the amazing things you come up with from misc. finds!
ReplyDeleteI have been following your blog for a few months now and just started my own (www.thriftyhomemaking.blogspot.com). Your blog is the first link I have added, it was 2 hours (+DH's 1) well spent. I might just spend a couple of hours figuring it out myself. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteP.S. I found your blog while looking on KSL for some furniture. I do a lot of shopping at DI and Savers and look online for deals. I thought what you did to your red side table was adorable and was similar to my style.
These are such cute ideas! And is that your daughter? She is adorable!
ReplyDeleteI like the new blog look...very cute! And props to you and Joe for the buttons. I've been trying to figure out how to do that too, without much success. Love the vinyl tile...there are a couple of things that I want to do with vinyl stickers too. (Don't be surprised when I show up on your doorstep asking for your help and expertise!!!)
ReplyDeleteWow, he's awesome! Any chance you rent him out by the hour? =) I love all your projects, I'm going to add you to my Reader so I don't miss a thing!
