Who knew that would happen??

Thank you for your comments and insights on my coffee table this morning. 

I tried a couple of your suggestions.

 I turned the center squares over and painted them, but it didn't really end up looking very good.

I decided to keep it how it was, but I needed to put a top coat on it so the vinyl wouldn't peel up.

I accidentally bought some spray enamel the other day thinking it was white spray paint.

Of course I didn't want it to go to waste, so I used it on the table top.

The enamel dried clear on the white paint, but turned the vinyl a light grayish blue color.

Who knew right?!?

Isn't that crazy how much clear enamel changed the look?
