I'm so excited!
Redi Shade contacted me and asked me if I'd be interested in doing a review of one of their Simple Fit Custom Shades. Of course I jumped at the chance. I am so glad that I did!! I now have a shade in Mira's room.
She used to have to look at this:
Yep, a creepy crusty window well. She would often sleep on the floor in the family room because she was so scared of her window.
With the help of a Redi Shade Custom Fit Shade, she can now sleep in her own bed without freaking out.
The shade also gave me the motivation to do a little sprucing!
I was so thrilled when this box showed up on my front porch:
I opened it up and laughed when I saw how easy the instructions were.
Just push in on the right hand side:
The instructions even have pictures!
And then take the sticky paper off of both ends:
Place the shade at the top of your window frame and then push the tension release button:
The shade fits really snug. It's not going anywhere!
That's it!
Well, I can honestly say that this is the easiest shade you will ever install. Hands down.
I installed this blind in the same amount of time that it took my girls to put on their flip flops.
No kidding.

And with this shade, there are no strings attached. Literally! I don't have to worry about little Miss Mira choking on anything. What a perfect solution for kids rooms! You just pull the shade to the desired length and it stays put! If you want to let in some light, you just push it up a little bit and it stays right where you want it!

And I like the "Light Filtering - Natural" shades, but I must say, how SUPER FUN would it be to sneak into the kiddos rooms while they were sleeping on the night before their birthday and replace their shade with a BIRTHDAY SHADE, for them to wake up too!?!?! They'd wake up stoked!! LOL! Love it!
