Alrighty! How is everyone doing??
Today I'll be doing another yellow project. It's the same color that I used in my last post, but here's why....My friend and SIL is planning on using yellow, black and white in her kitchen.
When she saw my step ladder from last weeks post she really wanted something that color for her kitchen. She said she was going to go to D.I. and find something I could paint the same color. I decided to try and beat her to the punch and pick something up. I found this
Pine Spice Rack.
At least I think that's what it is...
Each shelf had 3 dowels, so I pulled out the center dowel on each shelf to give me more space.
I tried to mix up the same color as I used on the ladder...I think I got pretty close.
Painting time....
I can't help but rough things up and add a little stain gel.
I picked up some white mugs at the dollar store and made some vinyl flowers to pull in some black. Of course she'll just have to take those off if she really wants these to be functional.
Total cost including mugs= $13.
Isn't it a fun mug house?
Here are some other super darling ideas for spice racks
