I picked up this little guy at D.I. This morning. A wooden plant stand.
I figured I could dress it up a bit with some paint. I decided to go with white.
After it was done it just seemed so long and so white so I thought I'd add a dash of green. I didn't want to do anything too elaborate because I wanted to keep it simple so I made a little heart stencil and put it on all four sides.
You'll never guess what it turned out to be!!!....
OK, so it's still just a plant stand, but a little bit cuter!
It's about all I can handle today. I seem to have caught the funk that's going around. Have a happy Thursday and stay away from me so you don't get sick! I think my blog is safe though:)

So cute! Where do you find the time for all this craftiness?
ReplyDeleteWow - that looks adorable. You're so fast to get your projects done! When I find a make over piece, it sits in my garage a little while before I can get to it. You inspire me to get busy! :)
ReplyDeleteThat's adorable!! I love its 'naive' look!!
ReplyDeleteIt is charming! I hope that you feel better really soon:)
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I just noticed you probably live in UT county.. since that's where the craft market is.. I might have seen you at the DI before and not known it. :)
ReplyDeleteI love it!

why can't I see something like that and just turn it into something amazing in a day. Wishin' I was more like you!
ReplyDeleteHow do you make your stencils? By hand or with a cricut or something? Contact paper? I need to make a small fleur de lis stencil, but don't really know what to do.. help would be appreciated. =)
