Laundry sign~

Can it be Friday already?? Seriously..it was just Friday 30 seconds ago. This week has flown by. Today I feel pretty happy with myself because I made a frame and used the table saw!! Woo-hoo. I was going to try and make a star outof casing and after I made the first cut on the chop saw I realized I'll have to work up to that. Maybe I can handle a frame though. Just a few 45 degree angle cuts and a handful staples later and we have ourselves a frame. I cut down a scrap piece of bead board and glued it to the frame using my high-tech clamps...AKA paint buckets and bleach containers.
After letting the glue set for a while I painted it. I should have painted the frame before I glued it to the bead board .
That would have made it easier and crisper looking...ah well, it is what it is. I grabbed myself a few random letters from the Provo Craft Outlet the other day that were $1.25. I was going to make monogrammed things for the market, but decided against it because if they don't sell I wouldn't know what to do with them. Instead I'm going to use them to make different signs. I think it's kind of cute to have one blocky letter in the word. For the rest of the word I cut some vinyl lettering. Did I spell that right? That looks weird all of a sudden.Welp, that's about it for today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy this warm weather while it lasts!!

  2. LOVE it! I think the one block letter is perfect! (And yes...it's spelled correctly! Don't you hate that when a word doesn't look right all of a sudden? I do! hahaha!)
