Refashioned Friday

My contribution to refashioned Friday is pretty weak, but it is something that has been bothering me for a long time. The door to my bedroom was really looking bad. You can't tell from the picture, but it had tons of scuff marks all over it! I repainted it yesterday and rubbed stain on the raised portion of the door and added some letters!
I'm not grumpy when I pass by it anymore!  Now onto more exciting refashions.

Deanne restyled this gorgeously sweet chair this week! Don't you love the new life it has?  I LOVE how it turned out!

Marie from Emma Calls Me Mama really brightened up her kitchen by painting the kitchen cabinets white! The black handles really stand out!

She got me excited about painted cabinets and I found a couple of others that I like.
I found this beautiful kitchen on One Woman's Life.
Check out more of the pictures HERE.

This incredible transformation was found on pufferprogress.blogspot.com.
This couple bought an old house and are fixing it up one room at a time.  Wouldn't that be fun?  It will probably never happen in my lifetime, so I enjoy watching other people do it!

  1. Hey, Andy! I just had to tell you that I love your "Songs of the Week" feature -- I LOVE your taste in music! I got the Saturday Morning Cartoons CD back when I was in Jr. High, and Open Up Your Heart...is my all time favorite. Have you heard "Labor of Love" by Frente? It's another classic.

Oh, and I love your bedroom door. :)

  2. People in my neighborhood have been painting their cabninets white then they put on walnut stain and wipe off. They turn out really cute!

  3. You should be featured/linked to on A Soft Place to Land or one of those type of blogs. I'm surprised you don't have 500 followers. Your blog rocks!
