The table has turned & Creative Cats....

Can I just tell you how much I LOVE garage sale season!!! It's just another big reason to love SPRING!! I found this yummy little round table on Saturday.  My inspiration for the paint job came from my little candy dish.  I painted it red and them used one and a half rolls of painters tape! HOLY MOLY!! I've never gone through that much tape for one project before!! It's not quite done. I'm going to put a second coat of white on the bottom stand and then antique it. I am also going to try and find a couple of chairs that I can either paint or reupholster to match! Fun!! 
It's also...(drum roll please).... Creative Cats today!! Well, not officially for another hour and twenty, but I'm just going to go ahead and get a jump start on tomorrow so I'll have time to finish the laundry and do the bathrooms(BOO!!,but it's a must).  I know there's creativity out there that needs to be shared so please link up if you'd like to be a part of Creative Cats today.     this is so cute! I hate using tape cuz it seeps through almost every time for me...what do you do so it doesn't seep through?

    I saw a table very similar to that at the Goodwill store here for $40...not sure that's a good deal but I just don't know where I would put it! Great job.

    I LOVE LOVE LOVE this blog!!! I check it daily. How in the world do you have so much energy? I borrowed/stole :) your idea for the placemats as a kitchen valance. I would love to show you the end result, but I dont know how. I don't have a blog. I also love garage sale finds, plus I live in EM so maybe we will run into each other some time!
