Easter Display~

Have any of these floating around your house from last year?

Yes, I did save all of mine, but unfortunately I bought really crappy ones that don't want to close.
I think I'm going to have to buy some new ones anyway.

I don't really want to throw them out, so I stuck them in my polka dotty platters.

I'm not usually a fan of purple, but I'm really diggin it this morning for some reason.

I painted an "as-is" IKEA door and designed a vinyl image for the front.

I {{heart}} eggs in a big way.
I have a hard boiled egg almost every day for breakfast. YUM!

It did take me a while to get over being grossed out by them after our failed incubation experiment in second grade, but I'm fully over that now and enjoy them immensely.

I totally love that we get to celebrate with them!

I think this may be the only purple thing in my house! Yay me for branching out!

  5. The sign is adorable, but those polka-dot dishes are precious! I also enjoyed your tutorial about the display shelf. A little light bulb went off in my head about where I could use a couple of those in our new house. Thanks for sharing & for the "a-ha" moment. LOL!!!

  6. Like the old wire hangers, plastic eggs seem to multiple on their own. We use them every year for egg hunts and months later are still finding them. They are also fun to hang on trees outside. I never worry about them being stolen.
You are tempting me to get into vinyl sign creation.
