Creative Cats And Giveaway Winner

Welcome to our first Creative Cats party of 2010!
First of all I'm happy to announce the winner of Tuesday's giveaway!
I was excited to see all of the entries and I wish I could afford to make one for all of you!

And the winner is......

Tiffany!!!

Congratulations!! Please send me your address and I'll get that sent off to you!

Here's a little P.S. to the black and white post. We don't have a pantry in our rental
and so we've been keeping our flour and sugar buckets in the garage.

We finally broke down and picked up some glass canisters for the countertop.
I added some black lettering. I thought it would go nicely with b&w kitchen decor.

The ribbon may or may not last. I don't know if I'll be able to keep it clean.

Three cheers for not having to walk out to the garage for dry ingredients!!!

Alright already!!!
Let's get this party started!!!

  1. That really looks nice! I like the black and white contrast. Did you buy or make your own lettering?

Thanks for hosting such a fun party!

    Have a wonderful day.

  2. Thanks for hosting CCF! We're waiting for baby #2 to make her appearance any day now and there is lots of nesting at Casa Petrie. It's tiring, but the house is looking good and it's good stuff for the blog. ;)

Love the glass canisters and the lettering. We need a tutorial on how you did the letters.

  5. Hey! I'm doing the same thing, but with black canisters and tan lettering. Great minds think alike, eh? :) I've missed creative cats oh so much over the break. I think I'm addicted. The first step's admitting it, right? Happy Friday!

  6. I want to do some of these too, except I can't seem to keep my counters cleared off as it is, I guess I'll keep waiting and one day I'll have a bid enough kitchen that my appliances won't live on the counter LOL!!!

  9. I have my dry staples in those exact jars! They're worth the splurge because they look so nice just sitting on a counter top if you don't have storage space. We did a candy bar at our wedding so we use the jars in our kitchen now. Love that! I'll have to add some vinyl though...awesome.
