What is your LEAST favorite household chore?
Answer the question for a chance to win today's giveaways!
Have a great weekend!
DISHES!! I wear heavy-duty gloves every single time I do them. Just makes me feel better. :)
ReplyDeleteCleaning the bathroom. ~gags~
ReplyDeleteMy least favorite household chore would be clearing off the table and getting the dishes ready to wash or put into the dishwasher -just makes me kind of nauseated :-)
ReplyDeleteDishes. I would rather do ANYTHING other than dishes!
ReplyDeletecleaning the bathroom ugh hate that job
ReplyDeleteI can only pick one? A blanket answer would be "cleaning". A specific answer would probably be bathrooms.
ReplyDeleteOh geez!!! I HATE cleaning the bathroom! It seems I'm not the only one reading your first few comments. Thanks again for this giveaway opportunity!
ReplyDeleteoh gosh! dishes! i would rather clean the bathroom 5 times a day than handwash dishes!
ReplyDeleteI hate folding laundry!
ReplyDeleteThank you for the chance to win :-)
cleaning the bathroom shower! ugh i hate it...i try to just spray tilex everyday after i shower but the water is so hard it just doesnt work so well
ReplyDeletesamantha.tram@gmail.com
Sweeping the floor!! honestly, it is a task that is NEVER complete!!! With white tile in my kitchen, there is always something that needs swept! puke!!!
ReplyDeleteDishes... so glad to see I'm not alone in Dishes Dread. I'll trade some of the ladies above... you can do my dishes & I'll clean a bathroom!
ReplyDeleteI hate the dishes. It seems like no matter how often you wash them, they always stack up on the kitchen counter!
ReplyDeleteThe bathroom for sure! The kids leave GLOBS (is that even a word :))of toothpaste in the sink every morning and I can't stand it!!! So, I clean them everyday!!
ReplyDeleteBathroom floors!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely has to be bathroom-related. Shower, tub, toilet? All of 'em bite big time!
ReplyDeleteEllen
Hmmm, the cat box is high on the list as is "poo picking" in the back yard after the dogs. But worse than both of those things is tediously lint rolling and vacuuming my couch. I got it with the intent to reupholster it - it has glorious bones but is covered in a fabric that somehow not only attracts fur but gets it stuck in its weave. I am in an upholstery class now working on smaller projects and learning as I go. I sure would love to make a slip cover in the mean time! <3
ReplyDeleteHappy Friday!!
MOPPING! I put it off for as long as humanly possible...which means dried food everywhere. Oh how I hate pulling out that mop.
ReplyDeleteYay!! I'm so excited that I won! I was hoping the "Danielle" you referred to was me and it was! I can hardly wait to start stampin' away (:
ReplyDeleteCleaning the toilet!!
ReplyDeleteI have been itching to get my hands on that Slipcover DVD, I have several pieces of furniture that need help!! Awesome giveaway, I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed!!!
:)Rachel Berry
Cleaning the bathrooms!
ReplyDeleteI hate emptying the dishwasher!
ReplyDeleteFolding the laundry!!!
ReplyDeleteMopping floors...I have lots of wood floors and with 3 dogs, there can be lots of mopping and subsequent backaches. I'd love the DVD.
ReplyDeletetrying to figure out which clothes are dirty and which clothes are clean in my teenage daughter's room!!
ReplyDeleteDishes. My husband always does them. But, we just bought a dishwasher finally, so I can unload them.
ReplyDeleteDishes. With little ones underfoot and needing things it seems to go a bit like this: Hands wet. Hands dry. Hands wet. Hands dry. Hands wet....

ReplyDeleteLaundry brings out the worst in me!
ReplyDelete{Rebekah}
Scrubbing the shower! We have those nas-ty glass sliding doors for our shower/tub and they make getting in and out so terribly hard and double the surface space to scrub. Yuck!
ReplyDeleteI hate cleaning bathrooms. Ewww!!! jaymissy1@hotmail.com
ReplyDeleteSheets!! I don't mind washing them...I just hate putting them back on the bed. Ugh.
ReplyDeleteCleaning the kid's bathroom. We have a houseful of kids and while they are learning how to clean up after themselves, my cleaning their bathroom is still a low-down and dirty job. We all know how well boys aim.
ReplyDeleteWhat fun giveaways! My least favorite chore is putting away the laundry. I wash it, I dry it, I put it in the laundry basket...and there it sits...and sits...and sits. Until eventually I've pretty much worn everything from the basket and it's time to do laundry again!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to win either of these treats!!! Least favorite chore is laundry. . been married 17 years, have 4 kids soon to be 5 and I am still not good at it or have found a system that works. . .Thanks for the opportunity to win!!
ReplyDeleteOoh, the bathroom for sure. Having 3 elementary school kids means I have to clean it every other day (or so I tell people..lol).
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the bathroom! Everything about it is gross!
ReplyDeleteI hate mopping the floor and cleaning the bathroom
ReplyDeleteDishes... it's a never ending job. Day after day it's all I seem to do. My next house, when I'm rich, I'll have two dishwashers ;)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the bathroom...the toilet, the floor around the toilet....the rest is fine. :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely putting the laundry. I could wash it and fold it all day long, but when it comes to putting it away in drawers--I hate it!
ReplyDeleteDefinately dusting and my house shows it! Arizona is SO dusty you dust one day and then next it looks like you did nothing, very discouraging! I would LOVE to win the dvd...I have failed (ie looks pretty bad) at covering several pieces of furniture.
ReplyDeleteCleaning the toilet!! Yuck, yuck, yuck!!!
ReplyDeleteMy least favorite chore is putting the laundry away. I don't mind washing it or folding it....just the putting it away part!
ReplyDeleteI hate cleaning the bathroom!
ReplyDeleteDoes ironing count as a household chore? 'Cause I'd rather clean toilets than iron.
ReplyDeleteMy least favorite chore is cleaning the shower. Ugh!!
ReplyDeletecleaning toilets...i could hire a maid just to clean my toilets! barf-o-rama!!!!
ReplyDeleteCleaning the bathroom. Hate it!!

ReplyDeleteCleaning toilets and bath tubs! But then I think of all the rest of the world that never have even seen indoor plumbing and I smile and thank the Lord while I clean them!
ReplyDeleteLooks like I'm joining the "mom masses" as I say - "I'll take "cleaning the bathroom" for the giveaway, Alex"!!!!
ReplyDeleteEmptying the dishwasher. Seriously, I would rather change poopy diapers all day than empty the dishwasher! I can't wait until my kidlets are big enough for me to delegate that task to!
ReplyDeleteI don't like mopping floors.
ReplyDeleteBut,I like to sew and would love to slipcover an old sofa
Toilets. Original, I know! ; )

ReplyDeleteFolding and putting away laundry. Yuck! Yuck! Yuck!
ReplyDeleteI actually despise emptying the dishwasher... YUK.
ReplyDeleteI'd love to be included in this giveaway.. I hope it's not tooooo late. I'd love the slipcover DVD... I've made quite a few, but I can always use new tips of the trade.

laundry... it never ENDS!!
ReplyDeleteCleaning the toilets!! Pottty training in process=yucky!!!
ReplyDeleteCleaning the garden tub is a pain...especially if it has the little jets!!
