Steppin up

Ahhhhh...I've just spent a wonderful week up in the mountains and I feel so rejuvenated. Joe did an amazing job taking care of all 5 kidlets while I was away. He even had the house sparkling clean when I got home AND the laundry was done. I just fell in love all over again! He is heading back to work today after being home for the summer break. This time of year is always bitter sweet for me. I LOVE having him home and I'm going to miss him and the extra help, but I also crave the schedule I've been missing and I can get back on track with my cleaning because I'm not off playing all the time.  It is hard to let go of the summertime though. It's just so great not to have to worry about things like jackets and socks. I decided to add some little summer feet to the "after" picture today.  I painted our little step stool from the half bath downstairs.

I love little Indi-pie's feet. The stool is actually a bit boring without them.  Enjoy the last couple of weeks of summer!!
I'm participating in Trash to Treasure day on Reinvented! Come and check out the other fun projects!

  4. How adorable. What a difference a little paint and a cute bird and branch made. Love it.

I'm having a hard time letting go of summer too, though letting go of the heat is fine w/me.
